General Description

The Kohler KD2500 generator, diesel, produced in France, generates 2500 kVA in emergency mode and 2273 kVA in continuous mode, at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. Supplied voltage: 400 / 230 V.

Engine

The generator is equipped with a KOHLER KD Series engine with a displacement of 62.06 liters and a maximum power of 1933 kW:

• Consumption at 100% load: 482.6 l/h

Alternator

The generator is equipped with a Kohler alternator with direct coupling, self-excited without brushes, insulation class H, protection degree IP 23, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Constructive Elements

The generator is equipped with a 500-liter tank integrated under the chassis, electronic speed regulator, pre-heating system for the cooling liquid (for easy starting in cold seasons), 12V starting system, rectifier for charging the battery when the generator is not operating, alternator for charging the accumulator during the engine operation, and vibration dampers placed between the chassis and the motor-alternator assembly.

APM403 Digital Controller

The control panel is user-friendly, even for unqualified personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator’s operation. The controller incorporates dozens of measuring instruments for generator operation, signaling devices for faults and more, control buttons, and indicators for various warning messages and proper operation of the entire assembly.

Soundproof Canopy

The soundproof canopy is built from sturdy elements, painted to the highest standards. The canopy is equipped with doors that allow easy access to the generator components for quick and easy interventions. The soundproofing capacity of the canopy is impressive, reducing the noise level to 86 dB at 1 meter and 78 dB at 7 meters.
