General Description

The Kohler K27 generator set is a diesel-powered unit manufactured in France, producing 26.5 kVA in emergency mode and 24.1 kVA in continuous mode, operating at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. The supplied voltage is 400/230 V.

Engine

The generator is equipped with a KOHLER KDI engine with a displacement of 2.48 liters, providing a maximum power of 25.4 kW:

Alternator

The generator set is fitted with a direct-coupled Kohler alternator, self-excited without brushes, insulation class H, protection degree IP 23, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Constructive Elements

The generator comes with a 50-liter integrated fuel tank under the chassis, electronic speed regulator, preheating system for the cooling liquid (facilitating easy start in cold seasons), 12V starting system, rectifier for battery charging when the generator is not in operation, alternator for charging the battery during engine operation, and vibration dampers located between the chassis and the engine-alternator assembly.

APM303 Digital Controller

The control panel is user-friendly, even for unskilled personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator’s operation. The controller incorporates numerous measuring instruments for the generator’s performance, signaling devices for faults and more, control keys, and indicators for various warning messages and correct operation of the entire assembly.

Soundproof Enclosure

The soundproof enclosure is constructed from robust elements, painted to the highest standards. The enclosure is equipped with doors that allow easy access to the generator’s components for quick and easy interventions. The soundproofing capacity of the enclosure is impressive, reducing the noise level to 76 dB at 1 meter and 64 dB at 7 meters.
