General Description

The Kohler KD3500 Diesel Generator, manufactured in France, produces 3500 kVA in emergency mode and 3182 kVA in continuous mode, operating at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. Supplied voltage: 400 / 230 V.

Engine

The generator is equipped with a KOHLER KD Series engine of 62.06 liters, with a maximum power of 1933 kW:

Alternator

The generator is equipped with a Kohler alternator with direct coupling, self-excited without brushes, insulation class H, IP 23 protection, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Constructive Elements

The generator is equipped with an electronic speed regulator, a preheating system for the coolant (for easy starting in cold seasons), a 12V starting system, a rectifier for charging the battery when the generator is not running, an alternator for charging the battery during engine operation, and vibration dampers located between the chassis and the engine-alternator assembly.

The control panel is easy to use, even for unskilled personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator’s operation. The controller incorporates dozens of instruments to measure the generator’s operation, signaling devices for faults and more, control buttons, and indicators for various warning messages and correct operation of the entire assembly.

Soundproof Canopy

The soundproof hood is constructed from durable elements, painted to the highest standards. The hood is equipped with doors that allow easy access to the generator’s components for quick and easy interventions. The soundproofing capacity of the hood is impressive, reducing the noise level to 86 dB at 1 meter and 78 dB at 7 meters.
