Kohler T1900 Diesel Generator – Overview

The Kohler T1900 generator, diesel-powered and manufactured in France, delivers emergency power of 1900 kVA and continuous power of 1727 kVA at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. The supplied voltage is 400/230V.

Engine

The generator is equipped with a 65.37-liter MITSUBISHI engine, providing a maximum power of 1620 kW:

Alternator

The generator features a Kohler alternator with direct coupling, self-excited without brushes, insulation class H, protection degree IP 23, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Constructive Elements

The generator includes a built-in 465-liter fuel tank under the chassis, electronic speed regulator, pre-heating system for the cooling liquid (facilitating cold starts), 12V starting system, rectifier for battery charging when the generator is not in operation, alternator for battery charging during engine operation, and vibration dampers placed between the chassis and the motor-alternator assembly.

Digital Controller APM403

The control panel is user-friendly, even for unskilled personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator’s operation. The controller incorporates numerous measurement instruments for generator operation, signaling devices for faults and more, control keys, and indicators for various warning messages and correct operation of the entire assembly.

Soundproof Canopy

The soundproof canopy is constructed from durable elements painted to the highest standards. Equipped with doors allowing easy access to the generator components for quick and easy interventions. The soundproofing capacity of the canopy is impressive, reducing the noise level to 91 dB at 1 meter and 83 dB at 7 meters.
