Kohler V350 Diesel Generator – Overview

The Kohler V350 Diesel Generator is produced in France and is designed for both emergency (standby) and continuous (prime) power applications, operating at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. It provides a supplied voltage of 400 / 230V.

The generator is equipped with a 12.78-liter VOLVO engine with a maximum power of 308 kW:

Construction Elements

The generator includes a 470-liter fuel tank, an electronic speed regulator, a preheating system for the cooling liquid (facilitating easy starting in cold seasons), a 12V starting system, a rectifier for charging the battery when the generator is not operating, an alternator for charging the accumulator during engine operation, and vibration dampers located between the chassis and the engine-alternator assembly.

The controller incorporates numerous measuring instruments for generator operation, signaling devices for faults and more, command keys, and indicators for various warning messages and proper operation of the entire assembly.

It features doors allowing easy access to the generator components for quick and straightforward interventions. The soundproofing capacity of the enclosure is impressive, reducing noise levels to 77 dB at 1 meter and 67 dB at 7 meters.
