General Description

The Kohler V440 Diesel Generator, manufactured in France, boasts emergency and continuous power ratings of 440 kVA and 400 kVA, respectively, operating at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. The supplied voltage is 400 / 230V.

Powertrain

The generator is equipped with a 12.78-liter VOLVO engine, delivering a maximum power of 399 kW:

Alternator

Constructive Elements

The generator includes a 470-liter fuel tank, an electronic speed regulator, a pre-heating system for the cooling liquid (facilitating easy starting in cold seasons), a 12V starting system, a rectifier for charging the battery when the generator is not running, an alternator for charging the battery during engine operation, and vibration dampers placed between the chassis and the motor-alternator assembly.

APM403 Digital Controller

The control panel is user-friendly, providing extensive details about the generator’s operation. The controller incorporates dozens of measurement instruments, signaling devices for faults and more, command keys, and indicators for various warning messages and correct operation of the entire assembly.

Soundproof Enclosure

The soundproof enclosure is constructed from robust elements painted to the highest standards. It is equipped with doors that allow easy access to the generator components for quick and easy interventions. The enclosure’s soundproofing capacity is impressive, reducing the noise level to 77 dB at 1 meter and 67 dB at 7 meters.
