General Description

Kohler V500 Diesel Generator Set, manufactured in France, with capacities of 500 kVA in emergency mode and 455 kVA in continuous mode, operating at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. Supplied voltage: 400 / 230V.

The generator is equipped with a 12.78-liter VOLVO engine, with a maximum power of 441 kW:

Alternator

The generator set is equipped with a Kohler alternator with direct coupling, self-excited without brushes, insulation class H, protection degree IP 23, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Constructive Elements

The generator is equipped with a 470-liter fuel tank, an electronic speed regulator, a pre-heating system for the cooling liquid (for easy starting in cold seasons), a 12V starting system, a rectifier for charging the battery when the generator is not operating, an alternator for charging the battery during engine operation, and vibration dampers placed between the chassis and the motor-alternator assembly.

APM403 Digital Controller

The control panel is easy to use, even for unskilled personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator set’s operation. The controller incorporates dozens of measuring instruments for the generator’s operation, signaling devices for faults and more, command keys, and indicators for various warning messages and correct operation of the entire assembly.

Soundproof Canopy

The soundproof canopy is built from resistant elements, painted to the highest standards. The canopy is equipped with doors that allow easy access to the generator set’s components for quick and easy interventions. The soundproofing capacity of the canopy is impressive, reducing the noise level to 78 dB at 1 meter and 68 dB at 7 meters.
