General Description

The Kohler V550C2 Diesel Generator Set, manufactured in France, offers emergency power of 550 kVA and continuous power of 500 kVA, operating at a frequency of 50 Hz and a speed of 1500 rpm. Supplied voltage: 400 / 230V.

Engine

The generator is equipped with a VOLVO engine of 16.12 liters, delivering a maximum power of 484 kW:

Alternator

The generator set is equipped with a Kohler alternator with direct coupling, self-excited without brushes, insulation class H, protection degree IP 23, with 3 phases / 4 poles.

Constructive Elements

The generator comes with a 500-liter fuel tank, an electronic speed regulator, a preheating system for the cooling liquid (for easy starting in cold seasons), a 12V starting system, a rectifier for charging the battery when the generator is not operating, an alternator for charging the battery during engine operation, and vibration dampers located between the chassis and the engine-alternator assembly.

APM403 Digital Controller

The control panel is user-friendly, even for unqualified personnel, designed to provide extensive details about the generator’s operation. The controller incorporates dozens of measuring instruments for generator operation, signaling devices for faults and more, command keys, and indicators for various warning messages and proper operation of the entire assembly.

Soundproof Canopy

The soundproof canopy is constructed from sturdy elements, painted to the highest standards. The canopy is equipped with doors that allow easy access to the generator components for quick and easy interventions. The soundproofing capacity of the canopy is impressive, reducing the noise level to 82 dB at 1 meter and 72 dB at 7 meters.
