If the crane arm of a vacuum curb-laying machine enters the traffic area of a road, it can create a dangerous situation.

Until now, this could only be avoided by using a crane with a rigid arm. Existing cranes with articulated arms offer some advantages, such as those related to the workspace, but usually have disadvantages because the risk of arm rotation and entry into the traffic area cannot be avoided. Probst brings the perfect solution by introducing the “SAFESTOP” articulated arm combined with a swivel suspension to meet both safety and functionality requirements.

Through the two adjustment screws, the operator can determine whether to perform installation operations only on the left side, only on the right side, or on both sides of the loader. Now, installation work of up to 150 kg can be easily, quickly, and safely carried out, including next to walls and around trees or poles.
